I now own Battleball, Blood ...Spot on review Matt. I now own Battleball, Blood Bowl, and Grind. I'm still partial to Blood Bowl, but to be fair - I've been playing it for twenty years. Battleball is great for the figures and thats about it. I think had Battleball been successful, and additional teams marketed - it could have gone somewhere (if no where else, Heroscape customs). Grind, is less rugby and less football and more American Gladiators. One nice feature (for some, for now) is that there are no expansions. None needed really as there are enough variations between all of the arms. That said, they are a pain in the a** to fit. I saw some crazy dude's pics on boardgamegeek - he drilled out each robot's sockets to countersink a tiny magnet. Now the weapons pop right in!
