The tins only have about 3-4 good cards in them, the rest of it is fluff.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-327484429725532216.post-45287683222167233782012-05-08T20:37:18.755-07:002012-05-08T20:37:18.755-07:00Man, I couldn't agree more with everything you...Man, I couldn't agree more with everything you've said. I picked up this game in a similar way. Really cheap. I only have experience with the Pokemon TCG, and it gets rightly criticized for a lot of it's problems, (obsessive coin flipping for instance) but it's amazing compared to this game.

He's right, defense just doesn't matter. Either you focus, all defense on one element type and get sideswiped by 1 of 2 other elements, or spread out the element defense, and get mowed down by almost anything. Only in a perfect, unplanned storm, do you mildly inconvience your opponent by forcing him to attack a different character of yours. still doesn't stop his attack.

No special ability is worth the cost of the energy to use it.

It's so frustrating, because as he's said, the see-through stacking mechanic is so interesting. It's a genuine crying shame they didn't play test it a little more than not at all.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-327484429725532216.post-68285462027214683762012-04-29T16:05:52.668-07:002012-04-29T16:05:52.668-07:00While Redakai is simpler than most TCGs, I still t...While Redakai is simpler than most TCGs, I still think there's some strategy to it. You were playing with three Character cards in play on each side, right? Deck building is pretty fun, as you have to balance the different zones and colors. I like a lot of the green cards in the game, with "Storm"-esque effects that reward playing lots of attacks in a turn. And the launch set monsters were largely weak, but Metacharged brought a lot of good ones into the game.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-327484429725532216.post-88442343871208477612012-04-29T10:11:17.818-07:002012-04-29T10:11:17.818-07:00Well, seems my 5 yr old should be right at home th...Well, seems my 5 yr old should be right at home then! Hahahaha. Thanks for the review, too bad there's no depth, I was hoping to end up with something I could actually enjoy instead of pretending I do. Oh well, at least they were cheap. I hope someone with more talent applies the concept to a worthwhile game.Enriquehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07013606211851487172noreply@blogger.com
